Bona Hardwax Oil is one of the products within Bona's Oil range. It uses a blend of hardening natural oils and waxes to provide a comfortable and natural looking surface to all wooden floors. Because of the structure of the product it gives the timber a lovely rich, natural colour.

Bona Hardwax Oil works by saturating the wood with the oil component of the finish, making the floors surface both water and dirt repellent.The high solid content of the product means that it leaves a very durable surface finish when used on untreated hardwoods and other types of wooden floors exposed to normal or heavy wear.

Bona Hardwax Oil has recently been applied to the wooden floors at St. Johns Catholic Cathedral in Portsmouth, Hampshire (Below Right). One of the advantages of chosing this finish was that the floor areas can easily be maintained by using Bona Hardwax Oil Refresher.

Bona Hardwax Oil Refresher can be used for maintenance when the waxed surface of Bona Hardwax Oil is showing signs of wear. It is applied in a thin coat across the floor with a cloth. When dry, the floor can be buffed by hand or machine to achieve a higher gloss surface if desired. Because of the natural ingredients with Bona Hardwax Oil, if a stain or mark appears on the surface, it is possible to do a spot repair to restore the surface with Bona Hardwax Oil Refresher.
